How to set up allowances paid to your suppliers:
Allowances paid to suppliers can be set up in Masters - Suppliers
Let’s understand how to setup allowances paid to suppliers:
Go to Masters - Suppliers - click on a supplier listing - Edit - Working Hours and Driver Allowance Settings section
1- Working Hours:
Use this to set working hours before/ after which your supplier charges you overtime or early allowance
City Name:
If you have different allowances for each city select a city and enter the amount here or simply select All
2- Early Time:
If your supplier charges you an allowance for performing a duty before a specific time enter the time here
3- Late Time:
If your supplier charges you an allowance for performing a duty after a specific time enter the time here
4- Outstation overnight allowance time:
if your supplier charges you an allowance for performing an outstation duty after a specific time enter the time here
Next, go to Masters - Suppliers - click on a supplier listing and scroll down to the allowances section.
Let’s understand the different types of allowances and what they mean:
1- Outstation allowance per day:
Enter the amount to be paid for an outstation duty
2- Outstation overnight allowance:
Enter the amount paid per night for an outstation duty. If you have set up a time in Driver allowance settings the time will be visible here and the amount will be charged based on the timings.
3- Sunday allowance:
Amount paid for performing a duty on Sunday.
4- Early start allowance:
Enter an amount that will be paid if a duty is performed before the time entered in Driver allowance settings. The early start cutoff time will be visible in the column.
5- Night allowance:
Enter an amount that will be paid if a duty is performed after the time entered in Driver allowance settings. The night allowance start time will be visible in the column.
6- Extra Duty Allowance:
If your driver is paid an additional amount for completing more than one duty in a day, enter the amount here.
7- Daily Allowance:
If an allowance is paid for the first duty of the day, enter the amount here.
