There are 4 ways to close a duty in Indecab:
You can close the duty through the Indecab dashboard and enter the duty details manually.
The driver can close the duty through a link received on SMS by entering the duty details.
The driver can close the duty through the Indecab Go Driver App by entering the duty details.
When your Supplier Associate on the Indecab Network or their driver closes the duty.
Let’s understand how to close a duty and generate an invoice:
1- Closing a duty manually on the Indecab dashboard:
After a duty is completed, you can enter the duty details manually in the Indecab dashboard to close the duty. This can be done when the duty is in Allotted or Dispatched status.
Go to Duties - Change Status to Allotted or Dispatched accordingly - Click on the gear icon next to duty - Select Close Duty
You will see the close duty slip page:
1- Duty Start Date:
Enter the duty start date. This is sourced from the booking date entered in the booking details.
2- Duty Start Time:
Enter the duty start time. This is sourced from the reporting time entered in the booking details.
3- Duty End Date:
Enter the date on which the driver has ended the duty.
4- Duty End Time:
Enter the time the has driver dropped the passenger at the destination.
5- Duty Start KM:
Enter the odometer KM reading of the vehicle at the start of the duty.
6- Duty End KM:
Enter the odometer KM reading of the vehicle at the end of the duty.
7- Duty Type:
This is sourced from the booking details.You can also change the duty type here.
8- Vehicle Group:
This is sourced from the booking details.You can also change the vehicle group here.
9- Auto switch duty types:
If you have auto-switching of duty types set up and do not wish to use it for the price calculation, keep this checkbox unticked.
10 - Price:
The rates applied will be visible here, as per the rates entered in customer pricing. You can also enter it here manually.

11- Per Extra KM Rate:
As per the customer pricing, the per KM extra rate will be visible here.
12- Per Extra HR Rate:
As per the customer pricing, the per hour extra rate will be visible here.
13- Chargeable driver allowances:
Based on the customer pricing you have entered, you will see the amount of any driver allowances charged for this package to your customer.
14- Allowances paid to driver:
Based on allowances entered in My Drivers for the driver who performed this duty, you will be able to see the applied driver allowances here.
15- Billing Items:
If your driver has paid for any billing item while performing the duty, it can be added here.
16- Scanned Duty Slip:
You can scan and upload a PDF of the duty slip your driver has filled and shared with you
If you have auto-switching of duty types enabled, the Duty Type will automatically switch based on the km and timings you enter while closing the duty

3- Closing a duty via the Indecab Go Driver App:
Once the driver closes the duty on the Indecab Go Driver App, you will be able to see the duty in Completed status along with the duty slip information.

The Indecab Go Driver App can be used to get digital duty slips from your DCO Supplier too.
4- Closing a duty via the Indecab Network:
The Indecab Network is an excellent way to connect with verified car rental companies and complete duties through suppliers. You can get completed duty slips for the duties allotted to your associates on the Indecab Network.
Go to Duties - Booked - Click on the status and select Allot - Select Suppliers - Click on a Supplier with the Network symbol
Once you have allotted a duty to your Network associate, the associate can accept the duty, complete it, and then send you a completed duty slip.
Associates can perform duties via the Indecab Go Driver App and share digital duty slips with you.
Past-dated duties cannot be allotted to Network Suppliers.
Once you have accepted a duty slip, it is an irreversible action. A duty cannot be cancelled or cleared. You can, however, Edit or Make Adjustments to the duty slip.
