Updates from November 2022 to December 2022

Here is a list of new updates and features we have added recently! Check out what is new on Indecab this month!

1 - Creating e-invoices using sister companies-
If you have multiple companies that fall under the e-invoicing rule this would be really useful to you. Sister company support has been added.



2- ‘E-Invoice created at’ date added to the invoice-



3 - Ability for your sponsored supplier account to send invoices through the network-
We recently released the functionality where you can send and receive invoices over the network with your connected associates. Now we have even added support for supplier accounts to upload an external invoice with an external invoice number and date as well.



4 - Default time settings for garage-to-garage calculations-
Get automated garage-to-garage calculations in your digital duty slip by setting default settings of minimum garage start and end time in mins for a specific customer or for all customers. To set default settings for a specific customer, Go to Masters - customers - Click on the customer name - Edit - Enter the 'Minimum garage start time to consider (in minutes)'



To set default settings for all your customers,
Go to Me - Business settings - Under duties/bookings find the field ‘Garage time settings for a duty’ - Enter the minimum number of minutes



5 - Auto-send Booking Confirmation once your supplier accepts a booking request-
If booking acceptance from your customers is dependent on your supplier accepting the booking request. This feature would be useful to you.
To set this up, go to the Me menu - Business settings - Others - Find the checkbox ‘Automatically set sms/email alerts’ - click on ‘Booking confirmation to customer’ - Save changes



6 - View an instant Duty Summary for the day-
Get an instant overview of what type of duties are taking place on a given day. This feature has been designed to help with planning and governance.
To view the summary go to the Duties section - Select a single day - Click on View Summary



7 - Easy identification of Multi-Day bookings-
We removed the need to open each booking to check whether it is a multi-day booking or not. In the Duties listing each duty will automatically carry the label 'MD' and in case it's a multi-day booking and 'CD' when there are child bookings.

Tip: Make sure you enable the Labels column in the Duties section to view these labels.

To do that, Go to Me - Business settings - Duties/Bookings - Duties - Columns to be displayed and enable 'Labels'.

8 - View ‘Reporting & Drop Address’ in Allotment Pop-Up-
The allotment box used while allotting a vehicle and driver now includes the reporting and drop address as well.



9 - Default settings for supplier Email and SMS-
You can now use default settings for each supplier SMS and Email that goes out with a booking request.
To enable this, go to the Me menu - Business settings - under Duties/Bookings - find the section 'Default options for Duty sms/emails' - under 'To Supplier' - select options as needed.



10 - Ability to add temporary passengers-
Temporary passengers are passengers that can be added to a booking but not saved in the masters. This is useful in the scenario where you don't need to save passenger information for later usage.

To enable this Go to Masters - Click on the customers - Select a customer for whom you would like to enable this - click on ‘EDIT’ - scroll to the ‘Booking/Duties Settings’ box - select ‘Enable addition of temporary passenger while creating booking’ - Save.

Note: Custom fields would not be available for temporary passengers



11 - Supplier invoice ageing report-
Get an instant overview of payables using this report. To try it out go to Reports - Generate new report - select ‘Supplier Group Invoice Ageing’ or ‘Supplier Invoice Ageing’ - fill the columns - view report



12 - User-specific static IP restrictions
If you are using a static IP you can limit access to employees to log in only from that IP. This would control the access of where your employees are allowed to access their accounts.
Go to masters - employees - click on the employee - enter the unique IP address under ‘Add a list of IP addresses to whitelist for this employee/user (if empty allow access from everywhere)’ - save.



13 - Addition of column option of ‘Customer Group Name’ -
Export data with ‘customer group name’ in Operations - Billing - Export Invoices/Export Invoice Duties

Tip: Update your current saved profiles to automate this selection every time you export invoices/ export invoice duties
