Updates from April 2020 to July 2020

Over the last two months, we've built a lot of new features and functionality.

Let’s take a quick look at what’s new in Indecab.

1 - Easier management of advances given to suppliers

Creating advance payment receipts for your DCOs/Suppliers is now simpler than ever. When a DCO/Supplier is allotted to the duty, click on the 'Add Advance Purchase Payment' under the small gear icon. When an entry is made a Purchase Payment is automatically created for this supplier and associated with the duty.



2 - Set the allowances to be displayed in the Purchase Invoice Duty Summary

You now have the ability to choose the allowance columns that are to be displayed in the purchase duty summary.

To set this, go to Me - Business Settings - Purchase - Purchase duty summary columns - Check the box ‘Show Allowances’ - select the allowances you want to show - click save.



3 - Ability to copy email content with a single click

If you would not like to send system-generated emails using Indecab but would like to just copy and paste the email content manually. we've built a simple one-click solution for you. While sending a booking confirmation or allotment email, simply click on 'Copy email' and then paste it wherever you like.



4 - Ability to import masters

We have now added the ability for you to import the customer and supplier master details.

To import the data - go to masters - customers/suppliers - use the large gear icon and click on import - download the import format from the pop-up - once you have filled the sheet - click on choose file in the pop-up to select the file and then click import customers/suppliers.



5 - Masters list section revamped

We have updated the entire Masters' section UI and added functionality to each column. You can now sort the displayed data by clicking on each column header.

We have also improved the way you search for information. Your searched information is now preserved even when you navigate away from the page and come back.



6 - Activity log functionality upgrade

We have extended the capabilities of the activity log functionality to all the sections in the Operations menu. Each entry now will provide a detailed activity log of all actions done by employees.



7 - Add multiple phone numbers and email IDs in the Customer Master

You can now add multiple phone numbers and email ids in the customer masters by using a ‘ , ‘ to separate the numbers/email ids as shown in the image below. All numbers added here would be used while sending communication to this customer.



8 - Ability to attach a file to a Purchase Invoices

You can now attach a file to a purchase invoice. To attach a file to a purchase invoice, first create a purchase invoice - select the invoice from the listed invoices - use the large gear icon to attach the file. Use this to keep a digital record of physical invoices received from your suppliers.



9 - Ability to select an image from Gallery in the Indecab Go Driver App

While adding Billing items once a duty is completed on the Driver app there is now a new button that enables your driver to select a file from the phone gallery. This will especially be useful to submit fast tag SMS screenshots while closing a duty.



10 - Ability to use manual numbering for Receipt.

You can now manually set the number and date for any receipt you create. To switch from automatic numbering to manual go to Me - Business settings - Billing - in the Receipt dates & numbering section, change the selection from automatic to manual - click save.



11 - Ability to search by a label while adding a booking to an invoice

Now while creating an invoice, you can use the filter option to filter bookings by the labels added while creating the booking. Just type the name of the label in the search bar and the bookings will get filtered.



12 - Ability to download/email Receipts and Purchase Payments

You now have the ability to download/email Receipts and Purchase payments with a click of a button using the newly added download and email buttons.

Go to Operations - Receipts or Purchase Payments - Open an existing Receipt or Purchase Payments and you will have the option to download/email as shown in the image below.



13 - New column options in the Billing export
