What are Categories - Vehicle Groups?

The Categories - Vehicle Groups feature can be used to organise your vehicles into different pricing groups.

For example, if you offer the same pricing for the Dzire, Amaze and Etios models of cars, you can create a group named 'Dzire/Amaze/Etios’ or give it a name of your choice.

To create a new vehicle group, go to Masters - click on Categories - Vehicle Groups - click on Add Vehicle group

You will see the following fields in the New Vehicle Group form:

1- Name:

Enter a name for the category that helps you easily identify the vehicles associated with it

2- Description:

Enter a brief description for the category.

3- Seating capacity (excluding driver):

Enter the number of passengers who can sit comfortably in the vehicles of this category. While creating a booking, if the number of passengers exceeds the number entered here, this category will not be available for the booking.

4- Avatar:

Upload a category image here for your internal use.

5- Luggage count:

Enter the number of bags based on the storage space of the vehicles in this category.

Click on Submit to save and create the Category - Vehicle Group.
