Allowances charged to and paid by customers
These can be set in Masters - Customers
Allowances charged to your customers will be based on the individual contract you have with your customer.
Go to Masters - Customers - Click on a customer listing - click on Edit and under Driver Allowance settings you will see the following:
1- City Name:
If you have different allowances for each city select a city and enter the amount here or simply select All
2- Early start allowance:
Enter a time before which if a duty is performed, an early start allowance will be charged
3- Night allowance:
Enter a time after which if a duty is performed, a night allowance will be charged
4- Outstation overnight allowance time:
If your contract with this customer allows you to charge an overnight allowance for outstation duty type after a time, enter the time here.
1- Outstation allowance per day:
Enter the amount to be charged per day for an outstation duty
2- Outstation overnight allowance:
Enter the amount to be charged per night for an outstation duty. If you have set up a time in Driver allowance settings, the time will be visible here and the amount will be charged based on the time.
3- Sunday allowance:
Amount charged for performing a duty on Sunday
4- Early start allowance:
Enter an amount that will be charged if a duty is performed before the time entered. The time will be visible in the column.
5- Night allowance:
Enter an amount that will be charged if a duty is performed after the time entered. The time will be visible in the column.
6- Extra Duty Allowance: If your driver completes more than one duty in a day and is paid an additional amount for it, enter the amount here.
7- Daily Allowance:
If for the first duty of the day an allowance is applied, enter the amount here.
If a particular allowance is not chargeable to your customers, simply go to Me - Business settings - click on Driver Allowance - below each allowance you will see a checkbox for Charged to customer - Untick the checkbox
Once you have set the allowances in the sections mentioned above, you will be able to see them as additions when you close a Duty Slip.
