How to convert a proforma invoice to a tax invoice?

You can convert a Proforma invoice into a tax invoice with just a single click.
Go to Operations - Billing - Click on the invoice - Click on Convert to tax invoice - Select the company for the invoice to be created under - Click on Convert to tax invoice
Once you have created a tax invoice, it cannot be changed back to Proforma invoice
Once you have created the Proforma invoice, it will be visible in Operations - Billing as a listing with the status label Invoiced, but it cannot be edited. You can refer to the activity log to view the tax invoice number. Once a Proforma invoice has been created, it cannot be reversed.
- If an Invoice due date has been set at the Masters level for a customer, the same will be visible on a tax invoice once it is created
- The invoice number on the invoice will be as per the company selected while converting to tax invoice
