How to automate duty type and vehicle group matching

You can automate the manual process of matching duty types and vehicle groups while accepting an incoming booking and duty slip once you have set up Duty Type mapping and Vehicle Group mapping.

Go to Network - My Associates - click on the gear icon next to the customer you want to automate mapping for - click on Manage Mapping - a pop up will open

Duty Type Mapping:

1- Associate Duty Type:

Select the network associate’s duty type name

2- Your Duty Type:

Select the duty type from your offering that should automatically get selected when the associate sends a booking/duty slip using the duty type mentioned in the Associate Duty Type column.

Example:

If your associate has sent a booking for 8H 80KM and in your account it is named as 8H 80KM Local Use, you can simply set up the mapping here. While accepting a new booking, the system will automatically choose the duty type you have assigned.

Vehicle Group Mapping:

3- Associate Vehicle Group:

Here you will select the network associate’s vehicle group name

4- Your Vehicle Group:

Select the vehicle group from your offerings that should automatically be assigned when the associate sends a booking/duty slip using the vehicle group mentioned in the associate duty type column.

Example:

If your associate has sent a booking for a Dzire vehicle and in your account this type of vehicle group is assigned the group name Sedan cars, you can simply set up the mapping here. While accepting a new booking, the system will automatically choose the vehicle group you have assigned.

Here in Vehicle group mapping we have set up Associate vehicle group as Dzire/Amaze/Etios and under Your vehicle group the name BMW/Audi - once we accept a booking for Dzire/Amaze/Etios from your associate the system will automatically assign BMW/Audi vehicle group
