Automatic garage-to-garage KM & Time and how to use it

This article will take you through how automatic garage-to-garage KM & Time is calculated and
how to use it.

Take a look at the image below, it shows you which part of a duty is tracked by the mobile phone and
which is automatically calculated.

All garage locations are stored in the Branches section. The driver starts a duty once he/she reaches the reporting address at the reporting time. When this is done the phone starts tracking the KM & Time
traveled. Once the driver reaches the drop address and stops the duty. Indecab automatically calculates the KM & Time between the reporting address and garage as well as the KM & Time between the
drop address and the garage.

There are 3 parts to using automatic garage-to-garage calculations:

1 - Adding Branches

Make sure you set the location on the map correctly, as it is from this point the garage-to-garage KM & Time would be calculated.

2 - Setting the Duty Types as 'Garage-to-garage'

3 - Selecting a 'Dispatch center' while adding a booking

Select the garage from which you would like to calculate the KM & Time for the booking you are adding.
