The My Drivers section is used to create driver profiles as well as enter salary information that can be used to automate your driver payroll process.
To get started go to Masters and click on My Drivers
Click on Add driver.
1 - Name:
Enter the driver’s name
2- Avatar:
Upload the driver’s photo.
Note: This photo will be shared with customers/passengers in the allotment email so make it a smiley one!
3- Mobile Number:
Enter the driver’s mobile number. A unique phone number is required because it will be used to create the Indecab Go Driver App login for the driver.
4- PAN Card number:
Driver’s PAN card information for your internal use.
5- Birthdate:
Driver’s date of birth for your internal use.
6- Alternate Mobile number:
In case you would like to send duty allotment SMSs to an alternate mobile number for this driver, you can enter that phone number here.
7- Aadhar Card number:
Driver’s Aadhar Card number for your internal use
8- Joining Date:
Driver’s starting date of employment for your internal use
9- Salary per month: Enter the driver’s fixed monthly salary, irrespective of the number of days the driver works. The amount entered here will be used to calculate the driver payroll

10 - Daily wages:
Enter the amount of money paid to your drivers per day. The amount entered here will be used to calculate the total basic payable amount to drivers in the driver payroll section. For example, if you enter 300 INR and the driver works for 25 days in a month, the basic salary for the driver will be calculated as 300 x 25 = 7500 INR
11 - Branches:
Use this to limit the visibility of the driver only to specific branches. Branches can be created from Branches in the Masters menu. Click here to learn more about how to limit access of information to specific users.
12 - Daily working hours:
The time entered here will be considered while calculating the driver overtime (OT). If a duty starts before the start time entered or ends after the end time entered, overtime pay will be automatically calculated for the driver and added to the payroll.
13 - Working hours:
Enter the total number of working hours of a driver per day. If the total number of hours on duty crosses the number of hours entered here, overtime pay will be automatically calculated and added to the payroll.
14- Allowances:
Driver allowances are automatically calculated on different conditions based on what you enter in this section.
Enter the allowance amount paid to the driver when he completes at least one duty in a day.
Enter the amount paid to the driver for every extra hour on duty after completion of the Working hours mentioned above.
Enter the allowance amount paid to the drivers when an outstation duty is completed.
Enter the amount paid to the driver when he/she stays overnight on an outstation duty. An outstation overnight allowance is automatically calculated when an outstation duty is of more than one day.
Enter the allowance amount paid to the driver when a duty is performed on a Sunday.
Enter the amount paid to drivers when a duty starts before the timings mentioned in Daily Working Hours .
You can set default work timings for all drivers in the Me - Business Settings section.
Enter the amount paid to your drivers when a duty ends after the timings mentioned in Daily Working Hours.
15 - Extra duty allowance:
Enter the amount paid to your drivers when they complete multiple duties in a day. Allowances added here will be automatically calculated for them based on the duties they complete.
16- Deductions:
If a monthly amount is to be deducted and visible in the driver’s payroll, enter the name of the deduction and the amount here.
17- License information:
Enter the driver's driving license information here. You will receive an alert 30 days before the driving license is due to expire.
18- Police verification:
Use this to keep track of your driver's police verification details.
19- Badge:
If the driver has a badge number, it can be entered here.
20- Files:
Add and store all relevant files and documents related to the driver here.
21- Additional info:
Any additional information that should be visible to your team for internal use can be entered here.
22- Driver Code:
Enter a 2 letter or digit code, this code can be used for exports, and in search as a unique identifier for this profile.
23- Is Contractor:
If the driver is a one-time contractor, this column can be used for your operations team to view
24- Enable app logout button
If you check this box, driver app users will be able to log out of the Indecab Go - Driver app. If this box is unchecked there will be no option to log out of the driver app.
25- Is COVID vaccinated:
This will be visible to your customer/passenger in the allotment information
26- Active/Inactive:
Once a driver is no longer working with you, he/she can be marked as 'Inactive' by unchecking the Active checkbox. Drivers that are not active will not be visible during allotment.
