How to generate a Vehicle Profitability Report

This article will guide you through steps on how to setup a vehicle profitability report for your vehicles.

Vehicle Profitability Report:

A Vehicle Profitability Report will give you a real-time overview of your earnings vs expenses of each vehicle or vehicle group, based on the entries made. A vehicle profitability report can be of two types-

Vehicle profitability by vehicle
Vehicle profitability by vehicle group

The above mentioned reports can be generated based on custom selections. Here are the options that can be used to customise reports:

Select Group- Choose the relevant section to view data from.
Select Filters- Select specific customer, supplier, duty type, vehicle group, city, branch or company you want to view data about
Date Range- Choose the date range for which you want to view data
Name Your Report- Customize the report name.

Let’s learn how to generate a Vehicle Profitability Report:

1. Vehicle Profitability by Vehicle-

This report will give you a real-time overview of your earnings vs expenses based on the selected vehicle.

Go to Reports - Click on Generate new report - click on Vehicle profitability report by vehicle - select specific vehicle number - select date range - click on Get report

2. Vehicle profitability by Vehicle Group-

This will give you a real-time overview of your earnings vs expenses based on the selected vehicle group.

Go to Reports - Click on Generate new report - click on Vehicle profitability report by vehicle group - select categories - vehicle group name- select date range - click on Get report

Note: Any text marked in blue can be clicked on and the relevant data can be exported. Additionally, when you generate a report, you have the option to Add to Favorites, Download and Refresh at the top of your scree

Driver Allowance data will be visible only if you have assigned a driver to the vehicle and entered details in Masters - My Drivers.

You will be able to refresh a report only if it has been added to Favorites.
