Updates from January 2024 to June 2024

1- New Taxable and Non-Taxable Credit/Debit Notes to simplify your invoicing

We are excited to introduce a new feature that simplifies the process of creating credit and debit notes for both taxable and non-taxable amounts. This update enables you to account for non-taxable amounts on your credit notes, ensuring accuracy in managing your finances with both customers and suppliers. This ensures that all taxable and non-taxable amounts are accurately recorded and accounted for, making your financial management error-free.



2- Enhance Driver Accountability with New Reporting Distance and No-Show Features



Presenting two new features in the Indecab Go Driver App to enhance driver accountability and streamline operations - Drivers can now only mark duty as 'Arrived' if they are within 3 KM of the reporting address, ensuring accurate location reporting.

Additionally, we've added a 'No Show' button in the Indecab Go Driver app, allowing drivers to mark trips as no-shows if passengers do not arrive within 15 minutes of the scheduled time. These updates ensure precise arrival reporting and handling of no-show situations.

3- Customise Duty Timings to each customer for Better Billing



We’ve introduced the ability to add Start/End Duty Timings at the customer level for HR-KM, Day-KM, and Monthly duty types. This feature allows you to set specific timings for each duty type, ensuring early and late charges are accurately billed to every customer.

To use this feature, go to Masters, select Customer, then Edit. Under Duty Type Type Timings, select the type of package, enter the timing, and save.

4- Track Changes to important sections with the new Activity Log Feature



You can now get detailed information about what has been edited in your Masters, by viewing activity logs that let you track the changes your team makes in the below mentioned sections. Activity logs can now be viewed for:

Duty Types
Vehicle Groups
Taxes
Labels
Feedback Forms
Billing Items
Branches
Bank Accounts
Employees

Simply click the small gear icon in any listing mentioned in these sections and click on ‘View Activity Log’.

Corporate accounts now also have activity logs for Employees and Passengers. To view, click the gear icon next to the section name and select ‘Activity Logs’ to see any changes made.

5- Prevent Errors while exporting to Tally with Special Character Detection



Our latest update enhances the export process to Tally software by showing an error notification if any special characters are used. The error notification also highlights and provides a link to the invoice containing the special character, allowing you to correct the invoice before proceeding with export to Tally. This ensures smooth and error-free data transfers, helping you avoid disruptions and maintain accurate financial records.

6- Simplify International Billing with E-Invoice Creation



We’re excited to add the ability to create e-invoices for export invoices, making international billing more efficient.

To create an e-invoice for an international or export customer, go to Masters, select Customers, click on the customer, Edit, and select the country under the ‘Country (Used for exports class E-invoice)’ column. Don’t forget to select the correct tax classification for ‘Export’ under the Default Tax Classification column before saving.

7- Select or unselect all recipients by default



You can now send booking confirmation alerts through SMS, WhatsApp, and Email by having all recipients of a booking pre-selected or by choosing them individually, as per your preferences.

To customize your preferences, go to Me, select Business Settings, click on Others, untick the column ‘Auto select all contacts when sending SMS/WhatsApp/Email’, and save changes. This will allow you to target communications as required while sending a booking update.

8- Ensure Accurate Airport Pickups with Mandatory Flight/Train Numbers



To improve passenger pickups, we've made Flight/Train Numbers compulsory for Duty Types marked as 'Airport'. This ensures essential details are captured for airport pickups.

To set this up, go to Masters, select Duty Types, click on HR-KM Duty Type, and under Sub Type, select ‘Airport’ to make the Flight/Train number mandatory while filling in the booking form.. This ensures the driver has access to the necessary details when picking up a passenger from the airport/ train station, preventing last-minute hassles due to missing information.

9- Streamline Customer Bookings with Default Supplier Settings



We’ve introduced the ability to set default suppliers for specific customers to strengthen your quality control guidelines, ensuring vendor quality while allotting bookings from your esteemed customers.

To set a default supplier, go to** Masters, select Customers**, click on the customer name,** Edit**, and under Booking/Duties Settings, choose the suppliers in ‘Applicable Supplier IDs’ and click on Save. This restricts supplier allotment to the selected suppliers for that customer.

10- Enhanced Purchase Invoice Export with Additional Details

We’ve added new columns to the Purchase Invoice Export for more detailed information. You can now include these details in your Purchase Invoice if Purchase Payment or Credit/Debit note is applied to the Purchase invoice:

Purchase Payment Bank Account Name
Purchase Payment Number
Purchase Payment Bank Debit Date
Purchase Payment Date
Credit/Debit Note Number
Credit/Debit Note Date
Credit Amount
Debit Amount

To export, go to Operations, select Purchase Invoice, click the gear icon, and choose Export Purchase Invoice.
