This article will take you through how to use the payment gateway to send online payment requests from
Indecab.

How to set up payment gateway

There are three types of online payment requests you can send using Indecab.

For an advance payment
For a single invoice
For multiple invoices

1 - For advance payment

To create a new payment request for advance payments, go to Operations - Payment Gateway - click on
‘New Payment Request’ - select the customer - manually enter the amount and click save. You will get a
pop-up, fill in the customer's email address and hit send, the customer will receive a link to do an online
payment.

2 - For Single Invoice Payments.

To request payments for single invoices go to Operations - Billing - Select the invoice that you want to
send a payment request for - once the invoice opens, click on the ‘Request Payment’ button at the top
of your dashboard - check the details of the payment requested and click save. You will get a pop-up, fill
in the customer's email address and hit send, the customer will receive a link to do an online payment.

3 - For Multiple Invoices

To create a new payment request for multiple invoices, go to Operations - Payment Gateway - click on
‘New Payment Request’ - select the customer - select the invoices you want to request the payments
for - click save. You will get a pop-up, fill in the customer's email address and hit send, the customer will
receive a link to do an online payment.



This method can also be used for single invoices.

Once you click on send, your customer gets an email with the online payment link.

The customer has to click on the ‘Pay ₹xxxx’ button to start the payment process.

You can monitor the progress of the transaction through the ‘Status’ column in the Payment Gateway
section.
