How to use round off on duty slips and invoices

How to round off time on duty slips and invoices.

We have two types of round off capability for time

Rounding off the time to the nearest hour in duty slips.
Rounding off extra time while displaying in invoices.

1 - Rounding off the time to the nearest hour in Duty Slips

This checkbox should be ticked if you want to round up or round down the start and end time to the nearest hour when a duty is completed. Rounding takes place on a 30-minute interval, meaning if a duty ends at 20:45 it would be considered as 21:00 and if it is 20:15 it would be considered as 20:00.

To round off the time to the nearest hour in duty slips, go to ‘Me’ menu (in the top right corner) - Business Settings - Tick the box ‘Round off duty slip time to the nearest hour’ - click save.

Once this setting is done, all duty slips will automatically round off the time to the nearest hour going forward. Your old duties would not be affected unless they are edited and updated.

2: Rounding off extra time while displaying in invoices.

To round off the time to the nearest hour in invoices, go to Me (in the top right corner) - Business Settings - Billing - Tick the box ‘Round off extra time of every duty while displaying on invoice’ - click save.

Refer to the below two images to see the difference in the way the rounded off time is displayed on the invoice.

1: Before enabling ‘Round off extra time of every duty while displaying on invoice’

2: After enabling ‘Round off extra time of every duty while displaying on invoice’
