How to tokenise your credit card
This module is a step by step guide for you to tokenise your credit card once you receive an Auto-collect authorisation email from the car rental company.
Step 1:
Create a booking request, this will be visible under ‘Unconfirmed’ status, open your email to complete the Auto-collect authorisation process
Once you receive an email click on ‘Authorize Auto- collect’ - it will open a new tab - select ‘Authorize with Amex’ - in the pop-up enter your card details from which amount would be deducted - enter OTP - click on ‘Pay’.
Initially to authorize you will be doing a transaction of 1 rupee.
Step 2:
Once you have completed the verification process the Auto-collect authorisation window will show Successful status and your booking will be visible in ‘Request sent’ status.
Once an invoice has been generated you will receive an email notifying you to confirm or reject the payment.
When an auto-collect payment request is shared, if you do not reject it within 48 hours, the payment will be processed automatically.
