How to add a bulk booking

From time to time, you will get bulk bookings from your customers for events, conferences, weddings,
functions, etc. In these scenarios, you will need to create bulk bookings for your customers.

There are 2 ways to go about this depending on the size of the bookings:

I: Smaller bulk bookings
II: Large bulk bookings

I: Adding smaller bulk bookings

Smaller bulk bookings can be added by creating a parent booking and then creating additional child
bookings.

To create a smaller bulk booking you just need to follow the following 3 simple steps:

Step 1: Create the first booking

You start by adding the first booking. Fill in all the details and click ‘book’. Once you see the confirmation
pop-up click close.

Step 2: Add Additional Bookings

Once you create a booking, click on add additional booking and enter the number of bookings needed -
click on ‘Add bookings’ there will be identical child bookings added.

Step 3: Edit Child Bookings

Once the child bookings are added, select the child booking and click on the large edit button to edit the
booking details as required.

II: Adding large bulk bookings

You can add large bulk bookings by importing the bookings via an excel sheet into the Indecab platform.

You can do this by following the steps below:

Step 1: Go to the import booking section

Go to Operations - Booking - Use the large icon to click on Import Bookings (you can also click on import
duties if you want to allot the duties while importing as well)

Step 2: Download the import format

Download the import file format from the import pop-up window.

The excel file contains all the columns you need to enter bookings. You can also send this file to your
customers for them to enter their booking requests.

Note: Ensure the columns are filled up with the exact same names as you have in your customer masters. If they do not match, the import will fail.

Step 3: Import the bookings

Once you have filled out all the booking information, save the excel sheet in a .CSV format.
Go back to the Indecab dashboard - from the import pop-up window and click on choose file - select the file
you want to import and click on import. The imports will now get imported.

Step 4: Check if the import was successful

Once the bookings are imported, download the import report to view the booking ids of all the imported
bookings. The import report will also tell you about any errors if any next to the bookings that had them.
