How to activate and use booking insurance for passengers

This article will explain how to enable and provide insurance for a booking to your customers. Indecab has partnered with Fingoole to bring you on-demand trip based insurance. You can now insure your customers for every trip they take.




What is Fingoole?



Fingoole is an Insure-Tech company that specializes in providing on-demand insurance. Fingoole has designed a unique insurance product that provides an insurance cover for as low as 1 day.



Types of insurance available






Types of Premium offered:


Bronze - Covers 2 Lakhs @ Rs.2 per day


Silver - Covers 5 Lakhs @ Rs.4 per day


Gold - Covers 10 Lakhs @ Rs.7 per day


Getting started:




Step 1: Get Fingoole insurance enabled for your account



To activate insurance, write into support@indecab.com or call 8080294294.

Step 2: Enable insurance for a specific customer




To do that go to Masters > Customers > Click on Edit and Scroll Down > Under Booking Insurance Status, check the Enable Booking Insurance checkbox, and select the type of premium from the drop-down list.





Done!




Customising your insurance experience



If you have already entered booking insurance for a particular customer in the masters’ section, at the time of creating the booking, the premium would be auto-added when you select the customer name and reporting time from the drop-down in the new booking section.





If you have not enabled the booking insurance for a customer, at the time of creating the booking, you can simply check the box that enables booking insurance and select the premium type from the drop-down section. These changes would be booking specific.





All passengers who are a part of the booking would automatically get an SMS from Fingoole with the insurance plan details for the day. It’s that simple!

Charges:



Insurance is prepaid you need to make a minimum premium recharge of Rs. 10,000 to get started and each time you need to recharge. The credits for the same would reflect in Me > Your account > View Billed Duties.
