2- How to manage access/visibility based on default Branch set?

To manage access/visibility first provide your employees with their own limited permissions, please refer to the article: Understanding Employee permissions and profiles

A) Booking level:

Once a booking is created for a specific customer under a Branch, the booking will be visible to the employee who has the same branch set.

Example: Organic India has Bandra Dispatch Center set up, Employee Krishna also has the same Branch as default. Krishna will be able to view and manage bookings based on the permission provided.

Note: If a City of Operations has been set in Branches, bookings can still be created for a different city.

B) Manage allotment:

In the above module, we learned how to set a default Branch for Vehicles and Drivers. Based on the default Branch set, employees will be able to manage allotments.

Click on the duty - select Allot - based on the Branch setup at booking level you will be able to view all Vehicles and Drivers with the same branch. In case if you would like to allot duty with a vehicle or driver of a difference branch, you can always enter the branch name and view the vehicle or driver under those.

Note: If a Branch is selected which is also set as default for a supplier, during allotment once you select ‘My Supplier’ only those suppliers will be visible.

If the employee and booking branch are different from vehicle or driver branch the employee will be able to view the allotment information.

Example here employee Krishna belongs to Bandra Dispatch center and driver Jignesh belongs to Borivali Office which are 2 different branches. When employee Krishna view the booking she will be able to view driver Jignesh and allotment information.

Note: Setting up Branches as default for customers, suppliers, and employees also allows your employees to easily view duties or booking data associated with the Branch they have access to.

These are the different ways to use Branches for access/visibility.
