Categories - Vehicle Groups
This article will explain how 'Categories - Vehicle Groups' work and how to use them.
Categories - Vehicle Groups are different pricing categoriesCreate groups based on the pricing bands you offer to your customers. For example, if you offer the same pricing for Dzire, Amaze and Etios create a group named 'Dzire/Amaze/Etios. Vehicle Groups can be used to set a pax limitation as well, this action would display a Vehicle Group based on the number of passengers mentioned in the categories.
To create a new vehicle group, go to the Master - Click on Categories - Vehicle Groups
To add a new category or vehicle group click on 'Add vehicle group'.
Enter the name you would like to use. Remember the name you use here would be visible while adding a booking, entering pricing and on the invoices. Click on 'Submit' to save.
How to display Categories : Vehicle Group based on the number of passengers ?
Under Vehicle Group ‘Dzire/Amaze/Etios’ we have mentioned 4 passengers in ‘Seating Capacity (excluding driver)’ , by doing this when we create a booking with more than 4 pax it would not display Dzire/Amaze/Etios under Categories:Vehicle Group as an option
